check please

Mr. Akenzui is a culprit of having more than wealth he is earning who is now under the police custody..

But, I hope nothing will happen to Mr. Akenzui as he have enough money to give bribe even to the high authorities.

Please correct this two sentences.

I think (the word hope is not appropriate in my sentence. If possible please replace it with appropriate word)
