check on choice of words

My Project manger has quit her job and moved back to hometown . she moved out of tropical country to hometown where its winter now .she is sent a email saying , she made it home .

And this is part of my reply .
Great news. I am happy for you. Finally you got to meet your family and friends .

Hope your sleep cycle getting back to its original routine (or)Hope your are settling back in your original time zone . ??

Sub - zero temperature must soothing after the long summer .

Few other queries .
what other phrases would suit the context instead of 'settling back '?

what is the right expression in the end of email to use instead of " i hope you are well " . if I'm writing to someone older or senior, who is also a friend.
