Hi.
May I ask you to check my writing please?

"It was hard to wake up on Saturday morning, so Steve get rid of the alarm clock and pulled the covers over himself. But the annual report was late for three days to be delivered. He slept in and finally woke up at 10:35 to go to work. It was getting dark while he came back home from work.

When he got home, he was so drained that didn’t check the messages on the answering machine. It was for a while that he hadn’t gone to the nursing home where his mother was taken care of. His mother expected him to be more compassionate, but he usually failed to do his duty as a good son.

Now it was Sunday. He was going to meet Anne at 1.00 for lunch. After lunch he remembered that it had passed 30 days since his mother’s birth day, so he stopped to buy something. However, they had agreed not to celebrate the exact day.

When back home from lunch, he eventually checked out the answering machine. He heard his mother’s voice saying that she hadn’t been feeling well recently and going to hospital for a few days. Steve immediately called back to the hospital and talked with his mother’s doctor to learn that she had a heart attack yesterday. He was told to get down to the hospital as soon as possible."
