Check my translations, please

1. How much do you earn per month?
2. What were your first impressions of Laos?

3. The cost of living in Laos is expensive if compare with Vietnam, because Laos is a
landlocked country. There is no port, most of the goods are imported from neigbouring countries and import duties are very high.

4. This morning I took a taxi to the Lanexang hotel, but the traffic was very bad. If I had walked, it would have been quicker.

5.A: How was your holiday? Did you have a nice time?
B: It was OK. If the weather had been better, I would have enjoyed it more.

6. Aren't you afraid of it is going to rain?

7. I didn't know you were in hospital. If I had known you were in hospital, I would have gone to visit you. (Do we use the definite article 'the' before the word hospital or not?)
