1. My friend is in bus and asked me, where should I get down? Then I told her to get down at abc stop.

2. My friend asked me, where are you? I said/told, I am at home.

My friend was on a bus and asked me, "Where should I get off?"I told her to get off at the abc stop.

How about second sentence? In second sentence will both told/said do?
