Check my sentences

We need to track all the items that have never been sold for/during the last 6 months.
This phone was being used by Mr. X until he got a new iphone. Then he sold the iphone to Mr. Y.

Let me know if the sentences are correct. If not, correct it. Thank you.

Thanks Philip. Is there any difference in the meaning between "for" and "during" in the first sentence?

No difference in meaning, but during sounds more natural to me for some reason.
