Check my sentence

Hi!

Please, can you check my sentence? It is the translation of a quote of a Saint, but I am not sure if I phrase it correctly.

"If Christ's commandment to love our neighbour was precisely observed, there would not exist servants nor free, neither rulers nor ruled people, neither rich nor poor, neither important nor unimportant persons."

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance!

I suggest this wording:

"If Christ's commandment to love our neighbour were precisely observed, there would not exist neither masters servants nor servants free, neither rulers nor ruled [people], neither rich nor poor, neither important nor unimportant persons."

Note: Use subjunctive "were" for conditi
