Check my second note please

The next day, while we were going to our field for collecting data sir xxx asked me "When will you go back, on Tuesday or Wednesday?" I replied "It's a three days survey I will go back after finishing my work here" Hearing this he staggered and I guessed from his facial expressions that he disliked my idea. When we reached XXX they showed me a house and said " You will find everyone there." But there were only four housewives and two XXX. I started collecting data from them. During my discussion with the group my male team members thrice sent me the message "Have you finished? Try to finish it quickly" This embarrassed me. After finishing the discussion there, we went back. When I came back to my room I realised that my team members are neither cooperative nor sincere with their duties. They are just doing _________ (Can you guess any suitable word or phrase in this dash? )as xxxx told me.
