I don't know why teachers have to telling off students that don't hand in homework in time? It is just a silly homework. You overdue it and you can send it later, but some teachers are good. They never blame when we overdue their homework because they understand us how we feel, having to write a five-hundred word essay. It is quite a daunting task to make us finish that in a week.
In other words, being punctual is what everybody need to do. They probably teach us how to be punctual and never overdue homework. But some teachers has really high standards. When you do badly or do bad design on their work. They tell us to redo it. Doing work badly is not the point but the point is when you tried your best and get it sorted. They blame you about the design when it is not satisfy them for some reason.
Teachers shouldn't verbally abuse students when they hand in homework late. They should do something like giving them a detention. Also, they should reduce their standards they shouldn't be austere about the assignments.
