Check my poem please

I never wanted to fail anyone,
I did my best but it was not enough.
Whoever had experience would know what I'm about;
I wish someone had warned me in advance.

This type of things could easily discourage
But it's not a big surprise to me.
Had only I foreseen how it would turn around
I would not be so broken now.

I don't see any logical mistakes. If this is very early in your career as a poet, then it's certainly a decent effort. It doesn't have a lot of the characteristics of truly great poetry written by the masters throughout the centuries, but then you can't expect to hit a home
