objective of study - In modern eras, the concept of business are evolving. The Traditional entrepreneurs were use physical retail stores to reach the consumer, but after the worldwide tide of digitalization the concept of retailing has changed gradually in every corner of the world, also the India is not an exception. The time of paper-pen business are gone, corporate sector are depending on internet, computer & digital devices for conducting business. Now it’s easy to reach worldwide consumer over online network rather than using brick & mortar store to reach few consumer of home town or country or nation. The consumer acceptability of this system is unimaginable, with increasing time scarcity in town life this become an exclusive way for shopping to the consumer. This saves time of consumer as well as our environment. Not only the consumer benefit, this raises the growth, turn over and retail industry including the flexibility of business. So, the concept of Brick & mortar retailing concept are gradually decreasing, and Online retailing marketplaces and marketer are coming forth day by day. Our study is made on the on the foreground of India’s e-tailing market. The effect of e-tailing is numerous in every country as well as India. The experts are expecting that after a hundred year latter this will be our main way of retailing system. So in our study I have tried to analysis the current India’s e-tailing platform on basis of available data from several sources. In this report the significant effect on India’s financial sector, marketing sector & economy including effect societies are described. This study also highlights the area of negative impact of e-tailing. We also placed our focus on recent activities of e-tailing sector such as amazon.in, flipkart.com, Snapdeal, myntra.com etc., their selling activities, market impact, and consumer affection. We tried to analyze all significant effects of e-tailing as detail as possible. This project report cover all important e-tailing movement in India and significant international activities in e-tailing.
