00I am writing to you to apply for the Bachelor of International Economics and Management program. My name is X and I am currently studying economics at the University of X . Since I am constantly seeking after gaining experience abroad and learning new languages, the wish arouse to continue my studies in Italy. Bocconi´s long and prestigious tradition along with its outstanding international environment is why I made Bocconi my school of choice.02br

00My main fields of interest are many-sided. Throughout my trainee program in a PR agency I was keen on managerial functions. I tremendously enjoyed my experience because I had the chance to take part in organizing and administrating major projects. Therefore I decided to study Business Administration. However, soon I realized that this study course does not convey a capacious international approach and thus ignores my ambition for foreign cultures and languages. As I was raised with a multicultural background I was early acquainted with the importance of languages. Furthermore an open-minded cultural approach is an exigency of present globalisation. That is why I try to obtain a cosmopolitan knowledge. My international experiences did not only broaden my horizon but also strengthened my language skills. I speak five languages fluently and resumed the challenge of learning Japanese after giving Italian top priority. Since my goal is to work in the fashion field, I placed great importance on acquiring Italian because of Milan’s paramountcy for the fashion world.02br

00The ambitions which I have just exposed to you need to be supported by a university that emphasises the diffusion of culture and knowledge and has a strong international focus. It is my firm conviction that Bocconi University, as an academic and cultural institution allows me to live up to my potential and to achieve my aims. I was confirmed in my conception after taking part in a guided tour of the University. I experienced Bocconi as a composition of commitment, motivation and multiculturalism. It was obvious that internationalization is one of the cornerstones of its education and research programs. I was pleased to find students from many different countries around the world and above all to learn about the numerous language courses which even enable me to proceed with my Japanese studies. Additionally, finding out about the MAFED program, which would complete my study path in a manner that exactly meets my demands, made my decision of making Bocconi University a part of my future complete.02br

00I see myself as an enthusiastic, independent and determined person. I started early to earn my own money in order to fulfil my needs by myself and thus be independent of my parents.
