Topic: Young people today mostly learn by reading books or watching movies, rather than real-life experiences. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In the inexorably changing world, it is obvious that there may be different ways indicating how people acquire knowledge. People argue that youngsters nowadays tend to learn more through books and films rather than achieve tacit knowledge which stems from their experiences in the real life. I totally agree with this point of view.

First of all, it cannot be denied that acquiring knowledge by reading books and watching movies is the best way for youngsters to understand better the differences between the real and unreal world. Not only may reading and watching frequently improve their rudimentary emotional skills, they also last later. They may know when they need to congrats someone, why they need to be sensitive, or what happens if they do not follow the law. Those things can be taught when they go through their own experiences, but they will absolutely not have the elemental understanding of those.

Moreover, learning practical knowledge through real-life experiences may not be efficient for someone who has difficulties in social communication. Youngsters nowadays usually find it hard to communicate with people they do not know well, and it is the rationale for why they often watch films or read specialized books. By reading and watching daily, they may get used to communicating effectively in order to reduce their fears and be better individuals through some scenes or stories related to common conversational situations before practicing.

In conclusion, while acquiring implicit knowledge is a good way for youngsters to develop themselves, it is clear that reading books and watching movies may give them a passport to more knowledge and skills achieved.
