I think we're talking about two different questions. 4 has 'exorcism'. 5 has 'rank' and 'status'.

While true, it doesn't get to the heart of the matter. Your standing in society is called your social status; your standing in the military is called your rank. (This brings in another abstract idea. Standing is "where you stand" with respect to others in the same group — higher, lower, the same.

My fault.

However, my reasoning for choosing letter d in question 4 is that we can't touch trance and exorcism but we can touch an amulet. We can say exorcism is a type of ceremony and, similarly, trance is a type of music. I am not sure if we can simply say that an amulet is a type of protection. Let me shed some light on my idea; if one is to make a list consist of types of music, trance would come to the list in all likelihood. The same goes with exorcism and ceremony. But I don't believe someone would generally find amulet as a type of protection after a research into the matter-- protection.
