1. I asked him even though I had known the answer .

2. He canceled his trip to Bali after I had told him about the bombing incident.

3. After two years they had stopped hunting crocodiles at the river, the river was infested with thousands of crocodiles.

Can you please check if these sentences are correct, especially the use of 'had'?
