chase

Hi,

Are these expressions [chase/run after/go after/pursue] correct and interchangeable in the examples? Is there any subtle difference between them?

1.The police are chasing/chasing after/running after/going after/pursuing an escaped prisoner.

2.Chase/Chase after/Go after/Run after/Pursue Ann and ask her to get some eggs while she's at the shops

3.The boys are playing frisbee in the park. One of the boys is chasing/chasing after/pursuing/running after/going after a frisbee.

Thank you very much for your help.

The only difference I can see is that, where the verb "run" is used, then obviously they are on foot. The others are indeterminate.
