Charmed

In one episode of Charmed Drake says he has made a deal. That deal is to be human for two weeks (at least according to previous episodes). But yet he says the following:
"I made a deal. I gotta be human for a whole year. My time is up."
So, is the underlined part a blunder from the episode or he means something else?
