Charity shop is a place where charity sale is being done?

"Leave books in the charity shops" means that "I'd leave my books in the shops for charity sale?"

Hi,

Another new member, thanks for the Website of the Day link.

I'll probably leave books in the charity shops near me, or maybe Motorway services as I head up and down the UK.

What sorts of books are most popular? I guess novels of various sorts?

Alot of my books are non-fiction, especially relating to one of my other hobbies, Amateur Radio. I guess there wouldn't be many takers for technically based books?

I may have to hunt down books in the charity shops, as I'm a bit loathed to let many of my books go. Emotion: smile

Yes, I'll drop my books there so they can be sold/bought and the money is used to help whoever needs it.
