My new phone holds its charge longer than my old phone.

The battery on my new phone lasts longer than my old phone. [Technically... than the one/than that on my old phone, but most people would probably say it the way I wrote it first.]

My new phone has a better battery than my old phone.

The underlined are not natural English in that context, and I would not use them.

Barbara are both correct?

Thanks

I think the first one is more natural, so that's what I would say.
