Change vs exchange

When I buy a a piece of merchandise from a shop and I find out later that it is damaged or defective, I go back to the shop and I say:

A. Can I change this?

B. Can I have this exchanged/replaced?

C. Something else more natural than A and B.

Please tell what's the most natural way of rendering the question.
