Vocabulary

change or exchange to ...US dollars

1. Where can I change money?
2. I’d like to exchange Japanese yen to U.S. dollars.

In these sentences, are the words "change" and " exchange" interchangeable?
And in the sentence 2, is the preposition "to" ( of "to" USD) correct? Are any other words possible?

Thank you.

I'm afraid my post was a bit disorganized. I was trying to fix it yesterday when EF went down for repairs, and I had to leave before it came back up.
Another variation which comes to mind is "money changers," as in the Christian New Testament. It's probably archaic.
I don't think we can use "money exchangers," but I'm not sure.
