Active - I cannot do anything unless someone gives me the right information

Passive a.Nothing can be done unless the right information is given

B.Nothing can be done unless I am given the right information by some one


Which one is more correct to use between a and b ?

I think both are fine.

You can consider either of them depending on the emphasis.

As you can see, b seems to emphasize the person who requires the information. A, on the other hand, emphasizes what is required more than to who requires it.
