Change jobs

Hello teachers,

http://articles.marketwatch.com/2013-04-07/finance/38289183_1_sports-agency-jobs-renaissance

The median tenure at one job is shortest for younger workers ages 20 to 24, who change companies about once a year. Those ages 25 to 35 change jobs roughly every three years.

What does "change companies" mean? Does it have the same meaning as "change jobs"?

Basically yes, although if you change jobs you could in theory be doing a different job for the same company.

'ages' should be 'aged'.
