change in post

i have been working in this company from last 4 years. Previously i worked as a marketing representative and after 3 years i asked for a transfer in the marketing office as i wanted to do table work. Its been a year that i got my transfer but i m not liking the post given to me. It is Junior product development officer. I have a mixed type of responsibilities. I relate more to the marketing personals for there sales data back up and other miscellaneous work. Please suggest me a post suitable for it. and also i request you how to write an application for the change in position.
