Window of opportunity, not window of chance
By chance, not by opportunity

Chance to me sounds like something you may have got(ten) by luck of the draw, but opportunity can be intentionally created or taken advantage of.

In statistics, we talk about chance, not opportunity.
e.g. what are the chances of us hitting the jackpot? (answer: 6 mil. to one!)

Hello Maj

'Will you ever...' is quite an emotional opening to a sentence. Together with
'give me another chance', it suggests the kind of appeal a discarded
boyfriend might make to his former girlfriend - probably late at night, on
the phone, after a few drinks.

'Opportunity', on the other hand, is usually sober, and wears a shirt and
tie. 'Will you ever'
