I wonder if the following sentences are ok.

If you write a good personal statement, the chance of getting admission to school of your interest will be high( or low)

"to school of your interest" is not right. You could say:

"If you write a good personal statement, the chance of getting admission to your preferred school will be high."

The above is OK, but I'd probably write it differently for stylistic reasons:

"If you write a good personal statement, you will have a good chance of getting a place at your preferred school."
