Dear Sir / Madam
When I saw this opportunity I didn't think twice. It is with great pleasure that I write this letter in order to demonstrate my strong desire to collaborate in the development of ESA and CERN.

One could describe the whole list of benefits to personal and professional level that motivate me to join such a professional stage . Of course itself has all these advantages are a great motivator , but as you already know them, I would rather just describe some aspects that I think are important .

ESA and CERN offer a traineeship in areas that are rarely seen in Portugal . These areas that have to do with the development of advanced electronic systems based on knowledge of VHDL , Matlab , etc. . There are few if any of these stages in the labor market , especially in Portugal , and those that exist are usually not disclosed properly.

Another motivating factor and , perhaps most important of all is related to my BSc final project was to work with exactly one and FPGA development in VHDL and Assembly.I developed a miniRobot with a 8bits softcore well as all necessary drivers from driving controllers , infrared and ultrasound . I think that the knowledge and experience gained in this project could be an asset to the ESA , because from what I saw there are about four stages requesting knowledge in this area .

I would also highlight the fact that is not very common for students wanting to develop hardware FPGA's projects in order to graduate because of their degree of difficulty . In this sense , I feel privileged because the branch Electronics and Telecommunication of the Electrical Engineering course is one of the hardest of the School of Technology and Management of Leiria and only boldest students dare to choose it . The proof is that most of the scholarships for electrical engineering students are assigned to this branch , and I was one example of this , because I was awarded a scholarship from initiation to scientific research in Electronics and Embedded Systems in INOV INESC .

Also , the fact that a degree in Electrical Engineering can be used not only to develop software but also to develop a project from beginning to end taking into account the various needs , such as mechanical , management , marketing, etc. . For example , when developing a product will always be necessary to coordinate with deveral departments and that's where the ability of communication and organization is needed. I think it is this type of coordination that is necessary sometimes, wich are not always taught in school . I got it over the last few years I was working student . Sometimes it is necessary to have the ability and to talk to people and understand their needs and from there move resources to meet those needs . The years I worked as I graduate gave me these communication skills and organization for what I think are perfectly according to a profile candidate for a technological internship of this nature .
