Century or centuries? Raj surprised everyone when he created an unbreakable record of one and a half centuries. Is this sentence correct or should we use only "century"?

"one and a half centuries" is correct English, but more context is needed to judge whether the concept is reasonable. The concept of an "unbreakable record" also seems rather dubious, unless there is some special circumstance.
