Centipede, Khalil Jibran

Someone was telling me that it has been written by Khalil Jibran that once a person asked a centipede that how does he manage to walk with so many legs, how does he synchronize the motion between them? I have unsuccessfully googled to find the passage. Is there any truth in that centipede story which that someone was ascribing to Khalil Jibran? Please let me know. Thank you.

It seems to be a different poet:

The Centipede's Dilemma

A centipede was happy quite,Until a frog in funSaid, "Pray, which leg comes after which?"This raised her mind to such a pitch,She lay distracted in the ditchConsidering how to run.– Mrs. Edmund Craster (1871)
