Centerpiece is typically referred to something decorative or attractive which you put at the center of a formal dining table or head table as in a wedding. It could be a flower arrangement or a piece of art work.

2. "chest of drawers" is used to contain clothes only, right?

If you are referring to a bedroom set, it's the "5 drawer". Yes, it is usually used for storing clean shirts, socks, pants etc.

3. Is "dresser" the same meaning as "dressing table" and "bureau"?

The dresser is typically made wider and lower than the "5 drawer" and has long mirrors attached to the back side for dressing up. That's why it's called dresser. .

4. Is "cutting board" the same meaning as "chopping board"?

Cutting board is usually thinner and could be made with plastic or wood. Chopping board is much thicker and heavier and only made with harder wood like maple or berch.

Centerpiece does not mean a flower pot or a flower vase. A flower pot or a flower vase may be placed at a center of a table to serve as the main decoration, and then it will become a centerpiece.

A chest of drawers is a piece of furniture consisting of a set of drawers that fit within a frame. A chest of drawers usually contains clothes but you could put all kinds of materials in a chest of drawers such as personal items, pictures, books, documents etc.

Actually, "board" is not a proper name for the Chinese chopping board.

Cutting board is typically something thin and light which can be troublesome when used for chopping a rack of ribs. Butcher block on the other hand is heavier and more solid which has more absorbant property. The Chinese version is functionally a "chopping board" but physically it's a section of the tree truck, not a board. The kind you see in a Chinese BBQ restaurant is specially made for chopping,
