CELTA application help?

I am in the process of applying to do my CELTA course and would really appreciate some guidance on my attempts so far.

1. CORRECTING A STUDENT'S MISTAKES
Each of the exchanges below contains a mistake.
In each case:
a) underline the mistake
b) write the corrected version in the space provided
c) write in simple terms, as if speaking to a learner of English, how you would make the correction clear.

1.a. "I'd like some informations about your courses."
"Certainly, here's our brochure."

b. "I'd like some information about your courses."
c. Information is a particular word that refers to more than one thing but is grammatically single.
e.g Thank you for the information.
The grass is green.
The shrubbery is tall and thick.

The same can be said for words such as grass and shrubbery.

2.a. "Have you got any money?"
"Yes, I've been to the bank yesterday."

b." Yes, I was at the bank yesterday."
c. The action occurred in the direct past and is not a continuous action.... I'm really not sure about this answer at all?

3. I've got : a headache
a sore throat
a cough

i.Outline some ideas on how you could teach these expressions. (50-100 words)

i. Although these are illnesses it is possible to possess an illness in the English language.'have got' is the possession form in this case and headache is the noun.An important point to mention here is that "have got" and "have" cannot be used in continuous form.
I have got / have a headache.
I'm having a headache.

ii.What problems might they have in pronouncing them? (50-100 words)

ii. I believe some students would have some problems with the word "cough". I would Point out that words with "ough" represent extremes of English. Similarly spelled words such as thoughrough_bough_thought bough (i.e. all written "-ough", all pronounced differently). Reassure them that in more cases than maybe they'd think there are patterns in the spelling of English however the "ough" is the exception to the rule and you just need to familiarise yourself with them.

1. How would you try to get across the meaning of the phrase "Would you like...? (as in "Would you like a coffee?) to a group of complete beginners who do not share a mother tongue? (50-100 words)

"would you like" is used as a polite form to say that you want something. An example could be "Would you like to go on a date?" In this case "Do you want to go on a date" would not be appropriate. "Do you want to get up at 5am or 6am?" This implies that the person would prefer not to have to get up so early but needs to get up none the less.

Thanks very much for looking and I'm looking forward to any comments or suggestions anyone might have.
