Celebrity's privacy

Please help me check my essay.

"More and more information about the lives of celebrity is found in newspapers, magazines and online. Is it appropriate for media to give this kind of private information about famous people?"

In this modern era, it is undeniable that celebrities usually attract most people's attention, especially mass media. It appears that the price they have to pay for their fame is an invasion into their private life. Personally, I think that privacy is one of human's fundamental rights and private information about famous people should not be published without their consent.

Firstly, being well-known is not synonymous with disclosing all their own personal information. Famous people are just human and they also have their own lives, relationships and private space. Hence, they deserve the privacy like rest of us. No contract says that for them to be famous, they must surrender their privacy. This invasion into private life refrains influencers from having just a simple moment with their family as they are always followed by the camera eyes of the paparazzi.

Furthermore, those unconfirmed information about people who are influential may lead to misunderstandings that can affect their lives significantly, either dignity or career. Just through a picture posted on the internet or newspapers, the media may spice up and even distort the information in order to attract attention and gain profit. Such unethical action may have negative impact on the celebrities' fame and be considered as injuring their dignity.

In conclusion, I'm of the opinion that celebrities deserve privacy right and media can only published news about influential people with their agreement.
