CD/DVD sleeve? jacket? box?

Hi,

EX: "Make sure all your backup DVDs are kept in plastic sleeves".

(1) SLEEVES,
(2) JACKETS,
(3) BOXES

Are these three terms fully interchangeable in the specified context?

[ I just want to avoid using terms that (although listed in my dictionary) are hardly ever used in REAL English :-) ]

MUSCOVITE Are these three terms fully interchangeable in the specified context? It depends on the precise nature of the cases. In general, 'sleeves' are soft pockets and a box would contain a lot of CDs.

I see. Thanks!
Have YOU ever heard people using "paper/plastic jackets" to refer to CD sleeves?

To be honest, I have not really noticed. In everyday life, I am not much concerned with such nomenclature. It seems to me they are always CD cases, however.
