Cavemen's tea

Hello everybody.

I have three questions, would you please help me?

What is cavemen's tea?

I give him a thin smile." Tell you what, you can make cavemen's tea. Looks you need a break anyway."

Issac pulls a face, but to give him his due, he gets to his feet and heads for the kitchen.

I don't get 'but to give him his due' either.

The woman was standing halfway down the path of the house we are parked outside.

May be it seems odd to you, but I can't imagine where the woman was standing. would you please explain it to me?

Thanks so much.
