Cause your blood vessels to constrict/constrain/strain/restrain

Ouit smoking: Smoking can cause your blood vessels to constrict. Increasing your blood pressure.

Hi,

Constrict in the above is very close to constrain, strain, and restrain in meaning to me. So I wonder if they are all about the same in the above context. Thanks.
