These days people in some countries are living in a “throw-away” society which means people use things in a short time then throw them away. Causes and problems
My answer:
Nowadays, “throw-away” lifestyle of some people in the society has been a heated topic to discuss. Although this can boost the revenue of supply business, it can cause significant negative impact to not only individuals but also the society. There should be reasons behind their act of money wasting.
This behavior might come from shopping addicts, these people tend to buy more rather than use. They desire to buy as much as possible to satisfy there needs of buying without considering about practical uses of things. Afterwards, those stuff might become a waste for bringing no benefits and be thrown away very fast. Moreover, the act of buying can be impacted by the needs to show-off on social media. One example of this is “fast-fashion” effect, people tend to wear each their outfit just once to take photos and post them on media site. Afterwards, worn- outfits should never be used again.
This might cause negative effect to the environment. There are some types of material which are difficult and costly to produce such as plastic. Once the demand for it get higher, the supply for it must increase. The production process of this material is very harmful for the environment with the intensity of smoke from factories when manufacturing. For individuals, people might run out of money and be badly in debt if they continue to throw money out of the window. If they can not make use of stuff, the buying will be in vain and progress, which might lead to uncontrollable spending.
The behavior of short-term uses for things might come from individuals who do not pay attention to practical use of stuff. This might bring negative impact not only to their own daily expense, but also to the environment generally.
