The causal logic behind such arguments...I always had trouble understanding 'causal'.. Can someone please rephrase?Thank you

Yes, but could you rephrase please?  I understand what the dictionary definition says, but have difficulty in getting the actual meaning.

Causal logic seems a little odd to me - I just googled and found something on our friend John Stuart Mill and philosophy.

Let's say two things happened. Did one lead to the other, or did they both just happen at the same time?

When you try to show that one led the other to happen, you show a causal relationship.

Let's say I ate fish yesterday, and today I feel sick. If you look at all the factors, you may decide that the fish is what made me sick. (or it may have been the spinach, or I may have gotten a virus from a coworker, or...) Trying to determine whether the fish made me sick is causal logic.
