I always had trouble understanding 'causal'.. Can someone please rephrase?

Yes, but could you rephrase please? I understand what the dictionary definition says, but have difficulty in getting the actual meaning.

Causal logic seems a little odd to me - I just googled and found something on our friend John Stuart Mill and philosophy.

Let's say two things happened. Did one lead to the other, or did they both just happen at the same time?

When you try to show that one led the other to happen, you show a causal relationship.
