cattle in the farm

Hello everyone. Is the following phrase correct for the following picture?

cattle in the farm
?

Top answer

Cattle in a field. Unless you have already talked to the person reading it about a farm you visited, "the" farm is too specific. I think I'd say "on" for a farm, though I have now said "on a farm" and "in a farm" about five times each and now both sound wrong.
