Catenative or not?

"I made him do this" or "Let him tidy the room"

Is this structure called "catenative"? Or is only the structure "He asked to leave" a catenative one? Where do I find more about the construct above: "verb + object + infinitive (with to) or present participle"

Could anybody give me a good source on this topic? I haven't found anything yet Emotion: sad

only this website: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Appendix:English_catenative_verbs
(which is about catenative only)
