When she got home, she was drenched to the skin. In the evening, she was aware that she caught a cold and had a fever. Later, her mother took her to a clinic. The doctor told her to take some medicine, get sufficient sleep, take sick leave until she got well.

(3) It rained heavily when Janice was on her way home yesterday. She didn't bring umbrella with her, so she just ran as faster as she could. When she arrived at home, she was terrible wet, she didn't change out of those damp clothes into something dry immediately, so she caught a cold. Later on, she had a sore throat and got a fever. Her mother took her to the doctor. The doctor told her to take medicine three times a day, take enough rest, take sick leave until she recovered from her bad cold.
