Catch the tsunami waves and ride them

Can you please let me know if it's corret to write"ride them" when it refer to a boat?

As to the eternal question of "Where do the ducks go when the lake freezes over?"
To this question was added that question "Where did the cashiers go?"

That's what I'd want to talk about with you.

I think they were swept away by a Tsunami. A tsunami is the term used today to describe the disruptive innovation that makes so many of the professions unnecessary, and that is going to make the future of all of us, new and unknown.

Is it scary? Probably. But maybe this is also an opportunity? Maybe instead of fighting it, you can build a boat? One that will catch the tsunami waves and ride them
