Casual sentence proofread.

I'm leaving my hometown and moving to another city and I'm talking to a friend and telling her about it:

"I'm very excited for the move" - is this ok in casual conversation? Or

"I'm very exited with the move"

What about:

I'm very excited for the party! Could this be used?

Why can you say:

I'm excited for the weekend and I'm excited for the future but not I'm excited for the move?

'Excited for the weekend/future' is not good either. I am excited for my mother: she is going sky-diving tomorrow.
