Can anyone please explain to me why Microsoft word would not underline the word "casted" when you type it in, if the word "cast" does not have a past tense. Rather when is casted supposed to be used in a sentence.
Thanks in advance!

" It's an irregular verb. You will have to direct your question to Microsoft, though, not us. She cast her line into the water.

She cast her line into the water.
He was cast as the lead in the play.
Both past tense, but with the correct past form of the verb, which is cast.
