casket flag

What is a veteran's "casket flag?" I know who a veteran is, but I can't find the meaning of the word casket flag anywhere. I'm assuming it has got something to do with the US armed forces.

Someone please enlighten me on this subject! A detailed description of this flag would be nice Emotion: smile

It's a flag (usually an American flag) that's placed (draped) over a coffin of a veteran (former member of the armed forces) who has died.
