Carrying out goals.

In the initial stage we set goals, in the end we achive them. What's the verb used in between, what is the veb used when you are in the process of making your goal happen?

to carry out a goal?

Are there any other verb that come to your mind?

How you you say it? Let's say: I've made a resolution to eat less for a month and now I'm in the middle of ............... this goal. (carrying out?)

Karol Silski 5217 what is the veb used when you are in the process of making your goal happen? In many contexts you can use "work towards". However, in your specific sentence, "working towards" does not fit tremendously well, partly because of "middle of", and partly because eating less doesn't seem to entail "work".

  • If it's around the middle of the month, you could say "I'm (about) half way to achieving this goal".
