They carry so many different diseases.

You don't know what kind of disease they might carry.

Hi, Which one is the correct way to write this? Thank you I assume you understand that 'Tom carries a disease' usually means that he does not suffer from it himself but he can pass it on to other people. He carries/ed so many diseases.
