Carla is so excited about winning

Carla is so excited about winning a free spot in her writing course, she knows she is gonna have a good time, and learn a lot. ? I have three questions regarding this writing. Here are those :1. Do this sentence indicates future : Carla is so excited about winning a free spot in her writing course. I mean she hasn't got a free spot yet but she is expecting it.2. she knows she is gonna have a good time, and learn a lot. Can I break this sentence into two parts for better understanding like : ?She knows she's gonna have a good time. (I think here she is also expecting to have a good time)

?She is gonna learn a lot. (She is going to learn a lot )

3. Can I use "will" instead of "is going to" like : She knows she will have a good time, she will learn a lot. Will the meaning of these sentences change then?
