Caring of their writing

Hi everybody,

Which word could you characterise a person taking care of their text with? For example they read their text over after they wrote it (in order to avoid mistakes). There are words like dress-conscious, health-conscious, etc.. Maybe there is a word for it, too.

They double-check their writing. They are perfectionists about their writing. I can't think of anything specific to writing, the more common idioms refer to people that scrutinize other people's writing.
