Caret

Hello.
Does english have this feature that, if a line has a word, we place some mark on the following lines, instead if rewriting that word?Could you show me an example please?

Thanks in advance

It's called "ditto mark"

a mark (?) that you write immediately under a word in a list to show that the same word is repeated.

Black pens, box of twenty ..... £2.10
Blue ? ? ? ? ..... £2.10

Google it and you'll find lots of examples.

Hi,
A caret is a mark indicating an insertion to a line.

eg
You write
Mary wore a hat.
You decide that you wanted to write
0
Oh I hadn't seen the title before I wrote that.
dear Clive
What Soheil writes is about avoiding the repetition of a word.
Is my answer wrong?

Hi Nikoo,

Yes, it seems that the title referred to one thing and the message to another.
