Careful vs attentive

Are there any differences between "I'm careful." and "I'm attentive"? Thanks in advance!

Careful is typically used for physical activity, while attentive is used for visual activity. For example: I'm always careful when I sharpen my kitchen knives. I'm always attentive when my child is playing outside.

Thank you so much but I still find the differences between physical activity and visual activity vague.
physical activity=manual work, sports and so on
visual activity=supervision, babysitting and so on

Is my understanding right?
